New Outlook

MHRC is the managing agent for New Outlook, Inc. and New Outlook II, Inc., two apartment complexes that provide permanent, independent living arrangements for individuals with psychiatric disabilities. New Outlook consists of 16 one-bedroom apartments, and New Outlook II consists of 24 one-bedroom apartments and a business office. The two projects are operated under Section 811, “Supported Housing for Persons with Disabilities” and are regulated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with respect to rental charges and operating methods. A manger is on-site during posted hours, however no mental health professionals are employed at these apartments and no services are available other than those typically found at apartment complexes, such as laundry facilities.
